FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/KitchenWithJonny INSTAGRAM: http://instagram.com/jonny.photos/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/jonnymejia23 SNAPCHAT: yonny10 Ingredients For the meat sauce: 1-2 Tbsp olive oil 1 lb ground beef( can substitute w/ Italian sausage) 1 medium onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves, minced Salt and pepper, to taste 1(28oz) crushed tomatoes 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning 9 lasagna noodles, cooked For the cheese mixture; 1(15oz) container whole milk ricotta 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 1-2 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley 3-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided Salt and pepper, to taste 1 egg Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Heat oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Strain excess grease. Add onion, garlic salt and pepper, and cook for 3-5 minutes. Stir in crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined, cover and simmer on low heat while you prepare the cheese mixture. 2. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, parmesan cheese, parsley, 1/2 cup mozzarella, salt and pepper, and egg. Mix until well blended. 3. Spread about 1 cup meat sauce onto the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish; top with 3 lasagna noodles, spread 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture and sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat with a second layer. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce mixture, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and grate more parmesan on top. 4. Bake for 35-40 minutes. After it bakes allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
